The Best of

Irish Oysters & Shellfish

Where tradition meets a new taste for life

For more than 60 years, our family has been growing the highest-quality oysters, mussels and shellfish in the beautiful waters of Galway Bay on Ireland’s West Coast. Here, pure wild sea blends with crystal-clear water from the Burren and Connemara, to produce oysters with a taste as exquisite as it is exceptional.

We’re proud that our sustainably-farmed oysters grace some of the finest restaurants and hotels in the world, with their extraordinary fullness and flavour. And what really excites us is welcoming new and vibrant generations of passionate oyster lovers - as the world moves to rediscover the fun, accessible luxury and sharing-sociability of this most magical little wonder of the sea.

Raves & Reviews

“Kelly Oysters are some of the best in the world, and a personal favourite. A pleasure to shuck open and a treat to serve in my restaurants. I can buy oysters for less but I need to deliver quality and consistency all the time for my customers.”

Patrick McMurray

Restaurateur – Toronto, Canada; World Championship Oyster Shucker 2002, Guinness Book of World Record holder of 38 oysters opened in 1 minute.

“Many times I get asked ‘if you had one last meal on earth, what would it be?’ And every time, without hesitation, I say ‘I’m not sure about the main course but I’ll start with a plate of Kelly’s Native Oysters from Galway.’ I am a lover of oysters and I have eaten them all over the world, but Kelly Oysters are without a doubt the best I have ever tasted.”

Clodagh McKenna

Chef, Food Writer and Television Presenter

“When visitors come to Moran’s from all over the world, they expect the world’s best oyster – that is why I always serve Kelly Oysters.”

Michael Moran

Restaurateur, Galway, Ireland; Six-time Irish Champion, twice European Champion and World Champion 2006

“I have always insisted the oysters are hand-packed with the deep shell down to retain their wonderful juice and are ready for delivery direct to the restaurant.”

Patrick McMurray

Restaurateur – Toronto, Canada; World Championship Oyster Shucker 2002, Guinness Book of World Record holder of 38 oysters opened in 1 minute.
