- We take care that our farming methods and techniques do not harm the environment. From avoiding the release of harmful cleaning agents, to ensuring the health of the marine environment and minimising impact on species – we not only comply with the law, we have also applied higher, voluntary standards of our own.
- Sustainability also means looking out for our own. We support the community in which we live by providing employment, working with local fisheries and supplying local customers.
- We are approved by the Sea-Fisheries Protection Authority – in support of a sustainable and profitable commercial fishing sector while protecting and conserving fisheries resources.
- We have applied for membership of Bord Bia’s sustainability programme, Origin Green. From farmers and food producers to retailers and foodservice operators, Origin Green brings together our country’s food industry with the common goal of sustainable food production.
